In June, Brno will once again become the epicentre of smart solutions for cities and municipalities. The URBIS 2025 conference (10-12 June) will be the epicenter of smart cities in Europe, offering discussions, inspiration and concrete tools for creating modern, resilient and sustainable cities over three intensive days. The main conference programme in the Rotunda of Hall A with the participation of leading Czech and international experts will focus this year on the role of cities as an engine of prosperity, a catalyst for social innovation and a partner in addressing climate challenges. The main partner of the programme in the Rotunda is Teplárny Brno.

Bavaria is famous for good beer, crispy pretzels, great soccer and beautiful mountains. But it also offers very advanced smart city technologies, which many Bavarian cities and municipalities use in their daily lives. That's why Bavaria will be one of the partner countries at this year's URBIS - The Smart Cities Meetup, which will take place from June 10 to 12 in Brno.

Representatives of cities and municipalities are invited to URBIS, a trade fair and conference focused on smart solutions for cities and municipalities, which will take place on 10-12 June 2025 at the Brno Exhibition Centre.

This year the URBIS trade fair, supported by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, should host a large delegation of representatives of cities from the Western Balkan countries.

The new URBIS The Smart Cities Meetup returns to the Brno Exhibition Centre after one year. From 10 to 12 June, the most important players in the Smart City field will gather in Brno to present the latest experiences and findings in this area to representatives of local governments, academia and the commercial sector.

At this year's URBIS trade fair, we will also welcome representatives from Bavaria, who will present innovative products and services in the field of urban mobility, digitalization and sustainability. Their stand will include several lectures focused on smart solutions for cities and municipalities. Their representatives will also be part of the main panel discussion blocks.

Guests at the URBIS 2025 trade fair and conference will include Ugo Valenti - the Director of the Smart City Expo World Congress, which has been held in Barcelona since 2011. It is the largest and most influential event focused on urban innovation and smart cities. Every year, leaders from global companies, governments and organisations come together to move cities towards a better future.

As in the last edition, favourable conditions for entry to URBIS The Smart Cities Meetup are prepared for representatives of the academic sector for 2025.

We are currently developing the basic features of the URBIS The Smart Cities Meetup 2025 programme. The overall scenario follows last year's successful edition: the main hall will once again be the Rotunda in Hall A, which will be complemented by two additional auditoriums (Agoras).

Just before mid-February, the period when you can get exhibition space at URBIS 2025 at lower prices is coming to an end. This year's URBIS is a conceptual continuation of last year's reboot and a complete overhaul of the entire event. It is being prepared with several ministries and many other institutions, and the programme designed especially for representatives of towns and municipalities will run for three full days both in the Rotunda of Hall A and on other stages.
