As in the last edition, favourable conditions for entry to URBIS The Smart Cities Meetup are prepared for representatives of the academic sector for 2025.

We are currently developing the basic features of the URBIS The Smart Cities Meetup 2025 programme. The overall scenario follows last year's successful edition: the main hall will once again be the Rotunda in Hall A, which will be complemented by two additional auditoriums (Agoras).

Just before mid-February, the period when you can get exhibition space at URBIS 2025 at lower prices is coming to an end. This year's URBIS is a conceptual continuation of last year's reboot and a complete overhaul of the entire event. It is being prepared with several ministries and many other institutions, and the programme designed especially for representatives of towns and municipalities will run for three full days both in the Rotunda of Hall A and on other stages.

Miroslav Scheiner, Special Projects Manager at the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic, moderated the final discussion on the first day of URBIS 2024.

We are intensively preparing for URBIS 2025 and electronic ticket sales are now available. As in the 2024 edition, a one-day ticket is available for 500 CZK and a three-day ticket for 1200 CZK. Representatives of the municipal sector can get free admission.

As in the last edition, we have prepared favourable conditions for entry to the URBIS The Smart Cities Meetup in 2025.

URBIS The Smart Cities Meetup will be presented this year at the SCEWC in Barcelona, which will run from 5 to 7 November.

The international discussion at Urbis 2024 was moderated by Michal Kuzmič from the CTU UCEEB. Innovative speakers from several European cities showed and explained the transformation of energy in their city's neighbourhoods. Important for these changes are data, strategies, cooperation, testing, experimentation, innovation and much more. Energy-Positive Communities (EPCs) are neighbourhoods or areas that produce more energy than they consume.

Already on 5 November, the Smart City World Expo Congress, a three-day event of global importance focused on smart city issues, starts in Barcelona. URBIS will also be present at the Brno stand.
