Founded in 2021, Bako Motors specializes in the manufacture of solar electric vehicles adapted to micro-mobility and last-mile delivery across Africa. As pioneers in our field, we are committed to democratizing sustainable transportation, making eco-friendly mobility accessible to everyone.

Our mission is to digitize the outside world on a large scale, with high accuracy and in 3D to help public sector organizations and businesses assess outdoor infrastructure and plan improvements more efficiently, more effectively, more safely and more sustainably.

The newly shaped URBIS will open the gates of the Brno Exhibition Centre to representatives of municipalities, regions, start-ups and innovative companies, innovation centres, universities, industry associations, non-profit organisations and the general public from 4 to 6 June 2024. The aim of the event is to create a platform that will help municipalities and companies to introduce innovations, transfer know-how and connect with actors in the innovation ecosystem.

GAMAX is an AI company focused on providing solutions to companies and municipalities using computer vision and AI tools, in the fields of SMART City, SMART Parking, and River Information Services (RIS). Equipped with an ML team, GAMAX builds deep-learning models serving several industries.

The third day of URBIS The Smart Cities Meetup will be marked by urban mobility, pilot projects and live labs. It will once again bring top speakers and experts from home and abroad, including representatives from the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

The second day of URBIS The Smart Cities Meetup will bring inspiration from regional and European cooperation, and look  into climate and energy innovation. With the participation of innovation centres and agencies, ministries, city representatives, business and experts from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, Finland and Norway, five programme sessions will be held. In the block REGIONAL AND EUROPEAN COOPERATION AS AN IMPETUS FOR TERRITORIAL DEVELOPMENT, the participants and project coordinators will present the possibilities of involvement in activities at regional and European level.

The topic of Smart Cities has become an increasingly important part of the development of cities, municipalities and regions at home and worldwide, as well as one of the keys to sustainable development, prosperity and quality of life. The increasing challenges we face together today require innovative solutions and innovative approaches.

BVV Trade Fairs Brno plans to create a Smart City Living Lab, also known as a 'Living Lab', within its premises. The Living Lab will feature an outdoor Archimedes Education Centre, which will serve as a permanent exhibit to highlight modern technologies and innovative concepts/solutions. Unlike traditional school classrooms, it will not be used for regular lessons.
