This year the URBIS trade fair, supported by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, should host a large delegation of representatives of cities from the Western Balkan countries.
Around 40 mayors, urban energy and climate experts and representatives of national associations of cities from Serbia, Northern Macedonia, Albania, Kosovo, Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina will have the opportunity to share their experiences in expert panels and discussions and learn more about the solutions offered by Czech companies.
The Czech Republic has a strong reputation in the countries of the Western Balkans and the presence of representatives of cities in this region can further deepen the quality and dynamically developing relations.
The programme of the Western Balkan delegation should include an excursion to a nearby city to present smart city technologies in practice or participation in a round table to share experiences and best practices from the post-war reconstruction of cities in the former Yugoslavia in light of the future post-war reconstruction of Ukraine.
