BPM Helps: Bringing Families Closer Together with Ronald McDonald House

The Ronald McDonald House Charities help families of seriously ill children stay together during long-term hospitalisation. Thanks to facilities located close to hospitals, parents can remain near their children during the most difficult times. That is why Brno Patchwork Meeting and its community are proud to support this meaningful initiative, which brings closeness, comfort, and hope.

Polish Patchwork Association - 10year anniversary of Stowarzyszenie Polskiego Patchworku

At the beginning of 2015, several women from Warsaw and the surrounding area who sewed patchwork wanted to meet, talk, and showcase their work. We found a place and agreed to meet on the last Thursday of each month. Hania called it  "Patchworkowe Darcie Pierza" This marked the informal beginning of our Association.

Patchfanynky Gallery, Marcela Listíková – A Star of Czech Tradition

Patchfanynky are a group of around thirty patchwork friends united by their love of patchwork, shared creativity, and long-standing friendships. In their work, they combine traditional techniques with personal stories, memories, and charitable projects. Their collective collections, often created through teamwork, demonstrate not only the diversity of textile approaches but also the strength of shared creativity.

Gallerist Zuzana Dolínková – Garden Celebration

A love for handicrafts has accompanied Zuzana Dolínková since childhood and gradually led her to patchwork, which has become an integral part of her artistic work. Her exhibition Garden Celebration invites visitors into a world of natural motifs, flowers, and gentle nostalgia, where traditional patchwork intertwines with embroidery, Japanese techniques, and natural materials. She draws inspiration not only from nature but also from her travels and international courses.

Gallerist Jana Dohnalová – Colors, Layers, Structures

Textile artist and lecturer Jana Dohnalová returned to textile after years spent in the legal profession. Today, her work is based on free quilting, hand-dyeing fabrics, and the courage to break established rules. The Colors, Layers, Structures gallery presents a cross-section of her current abstract work, inspired by details, structures, and the play of colors.

FROM … TO Quilt Community – Reflections

The FROM…TO project brings together dozens of artists, styles, and approaches to quilt art. Originating from the training courses “Let’s Talk About Quilt Art!” led by Ildikó Polyak, it traces a journey from searching for one’s own artistic voice to confident independent creation, from inspiration to realization, and from tradition to free artistic expression.

Marijke van Welzen creates wearable art that tells stories. Her colorful coats and jackets are created using an intuitive textile collage technique and captivate with their richness of detail, texture, and color. The DREAMCOATS collection presents textiles as a free medium full of imagination, experimentation, and personal expression.

Gallerists Juliette Eckel and Anke Pradel-Schönknecht – Pas de Deux

The exhibition "Pas de Deux" connects the work of two prominent textile artists. Together, they represent a dialogue between tradition and the present, experimentation and craftsmanship, individuality and collaboration. Their works are a declaration of love for textile art, detail, and the courage to cross boundaries.

In Search of Quilt Inspiration with Jana Štěrbová – the exhibition “Was gibt’s Neues?”

The German city of Chemnitz, selected as the European Capital of Culture 2025, hosted a major textile art exhibition in Hohenstein-Ernstthal. Under the leadership of curator Gudrun Heinz and museum director Marina Palm, a project was created featuring 30 European textile artists, including Jana Štěrbová representing the Czech Republic.

Gallerist Anne Bellas: Anne de Bretagne and JS Bach
