French textile artist Anne from Nantes discovered art quilting in 2017 and has since devoted her life to creating expressive textile paintings. Her latest series, Anne de Bretagne and JS Bach, connects visual art with the rhythm and emotion of music.

Aria Finale

Anne lives in Nantes, France. She discovered art quilting in 2017, and it quickly became her passion. Her life is now devoted to dyeing her own fabrics and creating textile paintings. Her art is primarily abstract, sometimes alluding to landscapes but never entirely figurative.

Several of her works have won awards or have been selected for international exhibitions in France and abroad (Russia, Germany, the Netherlands, USA). The Bach Series was exhibited in the United States last fall and will be displayed in several European countries in 2026.

She is a member of SAQA and belongs to the European fiber artist group “Five Voices.”
