Community Energy

We will be focusing on community energy on the first day - 10 June. The Community Energy Union will show examples from practice and steps on how to build an energy community.

AI in public administration

Artificial intelligence and digitalisation will be on the conference programme mainly on the third day - 12 June.

Social challenges of the modern municipality

Social issues are interwoven throughout the three days of the programme. These themes are sponsored by the Centre for Regional Development, JINAG and the National Network of Healthy Cities.

Living Labs and Agile Piloting

On the second day (11.6.), we will showcase successful urban innovation development concepts that can kick-start the local innovation ecosystem.

Efficient and clean transport in the modern city

On the first day of the conference we are planning a session with the Czech Minister of Transport, for example on demand-led mobility. On the third day, the Partnership for Urban Mobility and the National Network of Healthy Cities will focus on mobility.

Sustainable City

On the second day we will also focus on climate neutrality. The Ministry of Regional Development will present guidelines for municipalities and regions and international guests will show concrete examples from this field.

URBIS will focus on collaboration across sectors and levels

The topic of Smart Cities is becoming an increasingly important part of the development of Czech cities, municipalities and regions. The growing challenges we face together today require the search for innovative solutions and practices that are key to ensuring sustainable development, prosperity and the quality of our daily lives. International examples clearly show that the successful development of Smart Cities and the implementation of innovations in practice only happens with strong cooperation between the across sectors and levels. However, such cooperation does not emerge on its own, but evolves from regular meetings, sharing of experiences and mutual learning. This is why URBIS The Smart Cities Meetup is being prepared this year in collaboration with four ministries and about ten other institutions. All relevant activities and information will thus be concentrated in one place at one time.

The entire conference programme is translated into English.
