NeoPolis OS — The Operating System for Smart Cities

NeoPolisTech is a Slovenian technology company. Our flagship platform, NeoPolis OS, enables municipalities to launch their own branded smart city app — under their own name and developer account, with the same multimodal mobility and multi-layer city map experience that powers our reference app across Slovenia.
Municipalities can add their own services: events, citizen reporting, parking sensors, IoT integrations, energy dashboards, and more — either through their own development or via NeoPolisTech services.
Per-adapter service configuration gives municipalities control over every national and local data source their citizens see.
CityConnect is our EU-wide B2C service — the reference deployment of NeoPolis OS. It brings city data together on a single map with integrated multimodal journey planning.
The platform combines four categories of layers:
- mobility (public transport, private mobility, carpooling, shared mobility, parking),
- environment (weather, air quality, water levels),
- infrastructure (traffic incidents, roadworks, EV charging, travel times),
- and city services and information.
Some layers provide direct access to data, while others combine multiple sources into a unified service. For example, live transit integrates schedules, stops, real-time vehicle positions, delays, and service alerts.
By integrating private vehicles with public transport through dynamic carpooling, the platform helps municipalities reduce congestion, optimize public transport usage, and lower energy consumption — without requiring new infrastructure investment.
