BRNO PATCHWORK MEETING

For almost forty years I have been using fabric to implement ideas in creating household items, clothes, backpacks, bags and tents. I also sew unique fabrics for interior decor. I work in a varianty of techniques, recently also with fabric paints.

Brno Patchwork Meeting 2025 will welcome the renowned gallerist, artist, and curator Barbara Lange, whose name is inseparable from the international world of patchwork and textile art. Barbara Lange, who resides in Freising, Germany, has been a long-time member of the Patchwork Guild of Germany and has significantly influenced the patchwork scene not only in Germany but across the globe in recent years.

Heike Dressler is 63 years old, lives in Gunzenhausen in Bavaria, is a tailor and an apparel engineer.  She has worked in the apparel industry and taught at the B5 fashion college in Nuremberg for more than 24 years. 

Marta Drozdová sees the world through rose-colored lenses. Therefore, her collection for the 17th International Creative and Textile Exhibition BPM is called The Pink World.

For the first time, the unique oriental art of Zumrud Gabibulaeva from the Caucasus will be showcased at the Brno Patchwork Meeting this year. Her works, inspired by the almost forgotten tradition of hand embroidery, will transport visitors into a world of master craftsmanship and rich cultural history. Discover this fascinating artistic treasure at the BPM, taking place from April 25th to 27th, 2025.

Enter the competition at the 17th International Creative and Textile Exhibition Brno Patchwork Meeting with your textile works = quilts (three-layered textiles joined by stitching).

The 16th international textile and creative exhibition, Brno Patchwork Meeting, was a great success. We are now intensively preparing for the next edition, which will be the 17th. One of the first steps is, of course, selecting the quilt that will represent the entire event.

Hall E of the Brno Exhibition Centre became an international centre of creative textile design for three days. The BRNO PATCHWORK MEETING exhibition once again expanded its scope and attracted more than 4,000 people interested in the creative use of textiles from 16 countries around the world.

I produce teddy bears for collectors, replicas of First Republic teddy bears, furniture miniatures, dolls, pewter jewellery with minerals, textile books made of felt.
