BRNO PATCHWORK MEETING

For the first time, the unique oriental art of Zumrud Gabibulaeva from the Caucasus will be showcased at the Brno Patchwork Meeting this year. Her works, inspired by the almost forgotten tradition of hand embroidery, will transport visitors into a world of master craftsmanship and rich cultural history. The 16th international textile and creative exhibition, Brno Patchwork Meeting, was a great success. We are now intensively preparing for the next edition, which will be the 17th. One of the first steps is, of course, selecting the quilt that will represent the entire event.

Hall E of the Brno Exhibition Centre became an international centre of creative textile design for three days. The BRNO PATCHWORK MEETING exhibition once again expanded its scope and attracted more than 4,000 people interested in the creative use of textiles from 16 countries around the world.

The Patchwork Gilde Deutschland presents the thirteenth edition of the "Tradition to Modernity" competition, which took place in 2023. This textile quilt competition takes place every three years and is characterised by the fact that it sets only a few rules. The members of the Patchwork Guild are free to implement their own ideas and show the public both which themes are close to them and what technical skills they have.
