March 31, 2026  /  7:40 AM

The exhibition will offer a unique showcase of horses across various breeds and equestrian disciplines. A total of 24 breeds and approximately 150 horses will be presented, with Connemara and Percheron appearing in Brno for the first time. The four-day programme will run continuously across three arenas – two indoor arenas in Hall F and an outdoor area with a natural trail. Visitors can look forward to breeding demonstrations, spectacular shows, and sports disciplines from morning till evening throughout the exhibition.

The Main Arena as a Showcase of Breeds…

The main arena in Hall F will host an all-day representative display of horses across breeds, riding styles, and uses, becoming the central stage of the event. Breeding demonstrations will feature:
American Paint Horse, Appaloosa, American Quarter Horse, Connemara (first time at the show), Czech-Moravian Belgian Horse, Czech Noriker, Czech Warmblood, Fjord Horse, Friesian, Haflinger, Hucul, Icelandic Horse, Lusitano, Minihorse, Moravian Warmblood, Poitou Donkey, Percheron (first time at the show), PRE, Shagya Arabian, Shetland Pony, Shire Horse, Silesian Noriker, Kladruber Horse, Welsh Pony and Cob, and Czech Sport Pony, shown in-hand, under saddle, and in harness. Donkeys will be part of the programme as well.

…and Riding Styles

Shetland ponies will appear in harness and in a children’s quadrille, Moravian and Czech Warmbloods will demonstrate free jumping, and Fjord horses will engage audiences with pushball and a dressage quadrille. Visitors can enjoy Working Equitation demonstrations with Lusitanos, dressage performances by Haflingers, a riding display of the “five-gaited” Icelandic horses, and examples of how Hucul horses are used under saddle.
Cold-blooded horses and Welsh ponies and cobs will demonstrate log pulling, various types of harness work, and elements of carriage driving marathons.

The programme will also include performances by the largest horses at the show – Shire horses, dressage and carriage demonstrations by Kladruber horses from the National Stud at Kladruby nad Labem, para-vaulting, and scheduled demonstrations by the mounted police (Sunday and Tuesday afternoon).
Crowd-pleasers include a performance by Vendula Šponarová, showcasing harmony between a Friesian and a Spanish horse, and the return of Friesan Mano Stable with a new programme featuring Friesians and a miniature American stallion.

The line-up further includes horseback archery by Equestrian Archery Czech Republic and Czech Horse Archers, western disciplines such as reining, ranch riding, trail and hunter, as well as dynamic disciplines like Working Race and a preview of Mountain Trail, testing agility, speed, and rider–horse harmony on natural obstacles. Finally, audiences will enjoy the well-known horse Valda and his dog tricks, along with communication demonstrations by the Valda Team.

Fun for Children in and Around the Round Pen

The round pen in Hall F will host horse training demonstrations and three daily sessions of the popular children’s pony rides. A daily afternoon communication game, Equipoint, will allow visitors to participate directly. On Wednesday morning, the programme will take on a fairy-tale theme.

Throughout all four days, families will enjoy an accompanying programme near the round pen, including a children’s art area, creative workshops, and badge and magnet making. This zone will also feature artwork by Ing. Soňa Štossová and the popular John Deere Farm – pedal tractors available throughout the exhibition.

Outdoor Mountain Trail: Demonstrations, Competitions, Fairy Tales, and Fun

The outdoor Mountain Trail area will offer narrated demonstrations of horses navigating natural obstacles, both under saddle and in-hand. A highlight will be the giant rope bridge and competitions inspired by the Mountain Trail discipline, focusing on calmness, precision, and trust between horse and rider.
The programme will include themed fairy-tale performances, bridleless demo competitions, and Sunday’s special pony contest “Battle of the Titans”, featuring guest Princess Eleonora of Moravský Krumlov. Visitors will even have the chance to try selected obstacles themselves in a spectator competition without horses.

Educational content will round off the programme, including a Tuesday workshop with Czech Mountain Trail judges.
