The winners were innovative products featuring a high degree of automation, robotics, and other advanced technologies. Find out who won the AGRISHOW Gold Medals, the Silva Regina Gold Medals, and awards in the special categories of Smart Farming and Soil Water Retention Friendly.

A record 54 exhibits competed for this year’s awards, so the expert judging panel, led by Assoc. Prof. Jiří Mašek, Ph.D., had a truly challenging task. In the end, it decided to honor twelve exhibits, seven of which received the AGRISHOW 2026 Gold Medal.

AGRIO MZS was recognized for its Airpatch product. This technology features pneumatic nozzle control for precise treatment of weed hotspots, ensuring a rapid response when turning the application on and off. Thanks to this immediate response and targeted application, there are significant savings in chemical use and an overall reduction in operating costs.

Another award went to an exhibit by Agritec Plant Research. According to the committee, the company’s methodology for testing the effect of PBO and azoles on reducing rapeseed pest resistance to pyrethroids has a high degree of practical applicability, as it ensures a reduction in the resistance of selected pests to commonly used insecticides.

Cernin will also be taking home the AGRISHOW 2026 Gold Medal from Brno. Its high-capacity DR14 mulching machine features reduced dust emissions, and the spread of material can be continuously adjusted to a working width of up to 10 meters and a spread angle of 180°. The machine has a simple design that allows for versatile use.

The fourth winning exhibit is designed for livestock production, and the award was accepted by DeLaval. The innovative feature of the DeLaval VMS V300 Flow-Responsive Milking robots increases milking efficiency through dynamic vacuum control at the level of individual udder quarters.

Among the award-winning exhibits is the SPIDER TRIMMASTER 90 from exhibitor DVOŘÁK – slope mowers. The machine is equipped with a unique technical design for the cutting mechanism, which ensures a clean cut with proven low energy consumption.

The Faculty of Engineering at the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague also celebrated success in the competition, showcasing a product from ProLab Engineering. The award-winning exhibit, HECTHOR, is a versatile robotic platform that can be equipped with devices for monitoring crop conditions or with application equipment for applying pesticides or fertilizers. The machine can also be used in emergency response operations.

The seventh AGRISHOW 2026 Gold Medal goes to the Veterinary Research Institute, v. v. i., for its exhibit QuoCNA – a new generation of probiotics for poultry. According to the jury’s assessment, this probiotic product is based on findings regarding the natural transfer of intestinal microflora between hens and chicks. Key bacteria were obtained from pure cultures and used to create a completely new type of probiotic preparation.

Three exhibits at the Silva Regina 2026 trade fair also won gold medals. The Faculty of Forestry and Wood Sciences at the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague was recognized for the board game Letokruhy, which it produces in collaboration with the company Pink Troubadour. According to the jury, this innovative strategy game comprehensively and engagingly presents the issues of forestry and wood processing to the general public, while promoting the fields of forestry and wood sciences both within the Czech Republic and abroad.

Strojírna Novotný received another award for its LVS511 KOMBI exhibit. The jury praised this compact, eco-friendly machine, which is capable of gathering both short and long logs. According to the jury, its use is highly relevant given the current situation in the forestry sector.

The third Silva Regina 2026 Gold Medal was awarded to REPAROSERVIS for its KAPSEN 2R exhibit. In this case, the jury recognized the tracked skidder for its high terrain passability and low ground pressure, new two-speed drive, and new blade geometry, which is suitable for operations in densely structured forests.

Two additional awards were presented in special categories focused on addressing the most pressing issues in modern agriculture. In the Smart Farming category, dedicated to modern technologies designed to improve the quality and quantity of agricultural production, the Vitalimetr FA25 exhibit from FARMTEC took top honors. This product identifies estrus and health status, reports births, heat stress, and group behavior of animals in the herd. It thus enables comprehensive monitoring and evaluation of data on livestock and is a very useful tool providing all the important information needed for effective dairy herd management.

The second special category, "Soil Water Retention Friendly," is intended for exhibits that positively influence soil properties, leading to improved soil water retention. The award in this category went to ESCUBE and its exhibit, ESCUBE GARDEN Fruits and Vegetables. It is a plant biostimulant with a microgel capable of absorbing many times its volume in water, retaining it in gel form, and then gradually releasing it to the plants.
