Central European Veterinary Congress 2026 to Be Held in Brno

February 19, 2026  /  8:18 AM

One of the highlights of the accompanying programme of the National Livestock Exhibition 2026 will be the Central European Veterinary Congress, taking place on 14 April 2026 in the Morava Hall at the Brno Exhibition Centre. The event will once again bring together professionals from veterinary practice, academia, and companies operating in the fields of animal health, welfare, and modern livestock technologies.

The congress will offer a diverse programme focused on current challenges related to dairy cow health and productivity, smart farming technologies, developments in welfare legislation, as well as the latest trends and data concerning the use of antimicrobials in both Czech and international contexts. Participants will learn, for example, about the possibilities of integrating technological systems with veterinary supervision, automated health monitoring of dairy cows, and international best practices in the digitalisation of antimicrobial consumption records.

The programme will also include a panel discussion featuring experts who will provide deeper insights into the economic sustainability of livestock farming, herd health, and practical aspects of modern dairy production management.
