AGRISHOW 2026 to Showcase a New Face of Agricultural Trade Fairs in Brno
July 9, 2025 / 9:30 AM
Next year, the Brno Exhibition Centre will host a brand-new concept of a comprehensive agricultural exhibition. Under the name AGRISHOW, from April 12 to 15, 2026, the event will combine the most important elements of crop and livestock production, technologies for modern farming, and current trends in precision agriculture. All key areas of agriculture will be presented in one place, highlighting their interconnections and practical applications.
This change reflects the structure of agricultural enterprises and suppliers, who today are typically involved in both crop and livestock production. The new format better meets the needs of exhibitors and visitors seeking a complete overview of modern agriculture in all its breadth. The National Livestock Exhibition will also take place, complementing the event with championship competitions and showcases. Concurrently, the forestry and hunting fair SILVA REGINA and the renewable energy trade fair BIOMASA will also be held.
Bringing traditional fairs under one roof creates a strong platform that reflects the current challenges and needs of the agricultural sector. “Our ambition is to create a comprehensive professional event that presents agriculture as a technologically advanced and forward-looking field. The new concept connects individual segments and gives them space for mutual dialogue. At the same time, we are responding to the growing interest in practical demonstrations and interactive elements,” says Jan Kubata, CEO of Veletrhy Brno.
Tractors and drones in action. AGRI ARENA to Offer a Showcase of Agricultural Technology
A key innovation is the expanded supporting program, which will play an even greater role than in previous years. A major highlight will be the debut of the AGRI ARENA, featuring live demonstrations of agricultural machinery. The outdoor area will host demonstrations of fieldwork, driving skills, and contests for attractive prizes. A big draw will be smart technology demonstrations, including drones, land mapping, and data collection.
Smart Farm to Demonstrate How Technology is Changing Agriculture
Following a successful premiere last year, the Smart Farm project will continue, showcasing the latest developments and technologies in Smart Farming. Its core feature will be a stage with expert presentations, discussions, and innovative solution showcases. Surrounding areas will include themed exhibits and interactive demonstrations—from sensors and drones to farm management software and tools for optimizing production and sustainability. “The goal is to show that modern agriculture is based on data, innovation, and sustainable practices. Visitors will gain an overview of where the industry is heading and which technologies are shaping its future,” adds Kubata.
Traditional values and a modern approach
The new fair concept offers a balanced mix of tradition and innovation. In addition to practical demonstrations and expert discussions, there will be space for community gatherings, experience-based programs, and animal handling demonstrations. A key goal of the organizers is to support intergenerational exchange of experience and to inspire the younger generation to work in agriculture and forestry.
SILVA REGINA to Expand its Program
SILVA REGINA, one of Central Europe’s most important forestry and hunting fairs, will be part of the April exhibition complex. Its format will remain intact, offering a rich display of forestry-related topics. It will also feature an expanded supporting program and closer ties with the agricultural section. The hunting section will offer a wide range of equipment for hunting and outdoor activities, along with a separate stage for performances by buglers, falconers, dog handlers, and appearances by well-known hunting personalities. The forestry program will focus on educating forest owners, mayors, and professional forest managers. SILVA REGINA will continue to be a key meeting point for professionals and nature enthusiasts.
Technology for Efficient Use of Natural Resources
Alongside the other events, the BIOMASA fair will focus on renewable resources in agriculture and forestry. Visitors will learn about the best ways to process and utilize firewood, wood chips, or pellets, as well as composting, equipment, and biogas plants. The program will cover the use of wood biomass energy and composting techniques.
