The opportunity to see technology in action, watch and hear machines in operation, or confirm cooperation with a business partner with a firm handshake is becoming increasingly rare in the digital world, but all the more desirable. This is well known to exhibitors and trade visitors who head to the Brno Exhibition Centre every year to meet at the International Engineering Fair – the largest and most important showcase of industrial technologies in Central Europe. This year's 67th MSV will take place from October 6 to 9, together with five other specialized trade fairs.

For four days, the Brno Exhibition Centre showed the future of industrial technologies. The stands of 1,356 exhibiting companies were viewed by more than 55 thousand visitors, mainly technicians and businessmen who need to quickly implement technological innovation into practice. The future of industry was also discussed at accompanying conferences focused on the energy and defence industries - sectors that are of utmost importance for the Czech economy.

For representatives of industry and business, the top priorities include speeding up permitting processes, ensuring competitive energy prices, increasing support for applied research, and reducing bureaucratic burdens.

The very first recipient of this new award became Thomas Alijew, owner of the Swiss company ALFLETH Engineering AG, who was honored for his continuous participation in the last fifty editions of MSV.

In Pavilion P, thirteen state institutions are once again offering a helping hand to entrepreneurs. In one place, visitors can find information about all forms of support—from product development and certification to entry into foreign markets.

The sixty-sixth International Engineering Fair in Brno has become a reality. On Tuesday at 9 a.m., the gates of the Brno Exhibition Centre opened to welcome visitors who came to see cutting-edge technologies, attend accompanying events, or establish business contacts.
