15 Japanese Companies Showcase Advanced Manufacturing Technologies at MSV 2026

JETRO, a Japanese trade and investment promotion organization, is to hold a Japan Pavilion at the International Engineering Fair (MSV 2026) with 15 Japanese companies showcasing advanced manufacturing technologies.
This marks JETRO’s fourth Japan Pavilion at MSV, following its participation in 2021, 2024, and 2025. Through this exhibition, JETRO will continue to support Japanese companies in expanding their presence in the European market, with the Czech Republic serving as a strategic gateway.
The Czech Republic has become a key manufacturing hub serving the EU market. As of February 2026, approximately 270 Japanese companies operate in the Czech Republic, including 106 companies with local production facilities.
Meanwhile, labor shortages persist, with the unemployment rate in the Czech Republic remaining among the lowest in the EU. With rising labor costs posing an increasing challenge for businesses, demand for automation and labor-saving technologies, including industrial robotics, continues to grow. Demand is also expected to increase for precision manufacturing technologies, energy-efficient machinery, and environmental solutions, in which Japanese companies excel.
Through participation in MSV 2026, JETRO aims to connect Japanese innovators with business partners across Europe while highlighting the strengths of Japanese manufacturing and technology. Visitors are warmly invited to visit the Japan Pavilion to see and experience Japan’s cutting-edge technologies firsthand.
