Queenie to Bring the Atmosphere of the Legendary Wembley to the Brno Exhibition Centre

On Monday, 18 August 2026, the entrance area of the Brno Exhibition Centre will come alive with a concert by Queenie, the acclaimed Queen tribute band celebrating 20 years since its formation. At the same time, the group will commemorate the 40th anniversary of the legendary Magic Tour, Queen’s final concert tour with Freddie Mercury. Visitors can look forward to a unique programme featuring the complete setlist from Queen’s iconic Wembley Stadium concert in London from July 1986.
Queenie has long been regarded as one of Europe’s most respected tribute acts. Since 2006, the band has performed more than 1,400 concerts worldwide, appeared at prestigious festivals, and sold out Prague’s O2 Arena several times. Frontman Michael Kluch has earned recognition not only for his striking resemblance to Freddie Mercury but also for his outstanding vocal and acting performances.
The concert repertoire will feature Queen’s greatest hits in their original arrangements and keys. Audiences can enjoy classics such as One Vision, A Kind of Magic, Who Wants to Live Forever, Bohemian Rhapsody, and the closing anthem We Are the Champions. The band prides itself on delivering maximum musical authenticity, enhanced by a modern audiovisual show and carefully crafted concert production.
The Potential of the Brno Exhibition Centre Entrance Area for Concerts
The concert will take place in the entrance area immediately behind the main gate of the Brno Exhibition Centre, adjacent to the “Výstaviště – hlavní vstup” public transport stop. This event will showcase the location’s potential for hosting concerts and other cultural events of a similar scale.
Performers will be provided with facilities in Pavilion A and the Rotunda, while the iconic silhouette of Pavilion A will create a distinctive backdrop and unforgettable atmosphere for the evening. The venue is also easily accessible by public transport and conveniently reachable for visitors travelling from other parts of Brno and the surrounding region.
