European Women’s Volleyball Championship Heading to Brno Exhibition Centre

The Brno Exhibition Centre will host part of the 2026 European Women’s Volleyball Championship from 21 August to 2 September 2026. Following the successful final of the Men’s Golden European League, BVV is reaffirming its position as a key venue for top-level sporting events and will once again provide facilities for one of the largest international sports events of the year.
The center of the championship in Brno will be Pavilion P, which will be transformed into a modern volleyball arena with a capacity of up to 5,000 spectators. Covering an area of 15,000 m², it will offer top-class conditions for players, coaching teams, media, and fans, meeting the highest standards of the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV).
Brno is one of four host cities of the championship, alongside Istanbul, Baku, and Gothenburg. During the tournament, a total of 21 matches will be played at the exhibition centre, including matches from Pool B and selected knockout-stage games. Pool B will feature the national teams of the Czech Republic, Serbia, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Austria, and Greece.
The sports program will not be limited to the main competition. The venue will also include two para-volleyball courts, a fan zone in Pavilion Z (partnered with Brno Trade Fairs), and an outdoor visitor zone.
The European Women’s Volleyball Championship is further proof that the Brno Exhibition Centre, thanks to its versatility and high-quality infrastructure, is capable of successfully hosting major sporting events of European scale.
