Comic-Con Brno & Junior 2026 to Offer Three Days of Pop Culture, Gaming and Family Entertainment
November 3, 2026 / 11:41 AM
From 13 to 15 November 2026, the fifth edition of Comic-Con Brno & Junior will take place at the Brno Exhibition Centre, once again transforming Hall E into a meeting place for fans of sci-fi, fantasy, comics, video games, films, TV series and board games. The event will also host the Kniha Brno book fair, creating the most extensive programme in the festival’s history.
Comic-Con Brno & Junior will feature photo opportunities and autograph sessions with actors and other celebrity guests, a rich cosplay programme, gaming zones, lectures, workshops, exhibitions and competitions. Organisers are also focusing on families with children, offering a variety of interactive activities, creative workshops and physical attractions.
This year’s edition will introduce several new features. Visitors will have the opportunity to experience the Czech Stunt School programme, including archery and stunt demonstrations, as well as explore the Czech Journey to Space project, which will showcase experiments destined for the International Space Station and the upcoming mission of Czech astronaut Aleš Svoboda.
Cosplay will once again play a major role. The Cosplay Stage will feature characters from Star Wars, Star Trek, Harry Potter, and even the legendary knights of King Arthur from the Monty Python universe. Younger visitors can take part in the popular KinderCosplay programme, which focuses not on competition but on the joy of costumes and shared experiences.
One of the highlights of the exhibition area will be a presentation by Hungarian sculptor Larion Polacsek, creator of life-size movie statues and busts inspired by iconic franchises such as Jurassic Park, Star Wars, and The Lord of the Rings. The event will also include themed exhibitions of movie posters, costumes worn by famous princess characters, and collectible action figures.
Board game enthusiasts can look forward to gaming areas hosted by TLAMA games and REXhry, while the video gaming zone will be organised by Festival Fantazie. Additional entertainment will include remote-controlled races of famous movie vehicles. A special attraction will be the opportunity to try driving a tram on a simulator brought to the exhibition centre by the Brno Public Transport Company.
The programme will also feature traditional thematic tracks dedicated to sci-fi, fantasy, comics, Asian culture, the future of humanity and original creative work. Visitors can enjoy lectures, discussions and meetings with experts and fans of various genres. The event will also include a charity comic-book auction in support of the St. Zdislava Home Hospice in Třebíč.
Comic-Con Brno & Junior 2026 will once again offer a unique opportunity to immerse yourself for three days in a world of imagination, pop culture and entertainment for all generations.
