Festival of Science and Technology 2026 to Take Over Pavilion A at the Brno Exhibition Centre

From 4 to 6 September 2026, the Festival of Science and Technology Brno, the largest science popularization event of its kind in the region, will take place at the Brno Exhibition Centre. Visitors of all ages can look forward to three days filled with interactive exhibits, experiments, workshops, and meetings with scientists, researchers, and technology companies. Admission to the festival is free of charge.

Science That Inspires and Entertains
The Festival of Science and Technology Brno will feature more than one hundred exhibitors, including universities, research institutions, science outreach organizations, and technology companies. Visitors will have the opportunity to take part in a wide range of interactive activities and experience firsthand how science and technology influence everyday life.
The programme will include experimental shows, the Science Theatre, workshops, an escape game, models of celestial bodies, and outdoor exhibitions. Companies manufacturing electron microscopes will also be represented, alongside experts from the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute and the popular physics and chemistry show, Smokeman.
Building on the success of previous editions, the event will once again offer an attractive programme for children, students, families, and the general public under the leadership of the Brno Observatory and Planetarium.
Pavilion A: The Ideal Venue for Public Events
The festival will be held in the iconic Pavilion A, one of the most significant buildings at the Brno Exhibition Centre. Its location, directly adjacent to the main entrance and close to public transport stops, provides visitors with exceptional accessibility and convenience. Its technical facilities, spacious interior areas, and the possibility of using adjacent outdoor spaces make it an ideal venue for large-scale public events.
The unique atmosphere is further enhanced by the architecture of this remarkable Functionalist building, dating back to 1928, which remains one of the symbols of the Brno Exhibition Centre.
