12.15–12.45 | Space and astronautics with Jan Spratek Jan Spratek's lecture will explain complex scientific phenomena in the field of space technology and astronautics in an understandable and entertaining way. Jan works as a specialist in astronautics at the Prague Planetarium. Among other things, he led the Planetum-1 project, which launched the first Czech educational satellite into Earth's orbit in 2022. He focuses on popularizing space and astronautics in the Czech Republic and is actively involved in the development of educational programs for students and teachers. For his exceptional contribution to education and the popularization of science, he received the prestigious ESA Champion award from the European Space Agency. |
