Minerals Brno: Christmas Gifts, an Interesting and Educational Day Out for the Whole Family
October 31, 2025 / 2:05 PM
The international sales exhibition of minerals, fossils, jewelry, and natural products MINERALS BRNO will take place at the Brno Exhibition Centre from November 22 to 23. The ground floor of Pavilion B will be completely filled with almost three hundred domestic and foreign exhibitors and vendors offering the full range of products typical for events of this kind. MINERALS BRNO is a great opportunity to buy Christmas gifts and spend an educational and entertaining day with the whole family.
Visitors can look forward to the full range known from previous years – from minerals and products made from them, to collectible stones, jewelry, natural specimens, and decorations, as well as home accessories, useful items, and esoterica.
Accompanying Exhibition of Gemstones
Minerals Brno is traditionally not only a shopping paradise but also a place where visitors can enjoy a pleasant day full of learning and fun. The accompanying exhibition of the November edition will introduce the fascinating world of silicates – one of the most diverse groups of minerals on our planet. Visitors will be able to admire a true display of the Earth’s sparkling treasures – from deep green olivines and fiery red garnets to delicate pink tourmalines, golden topazes, and perfectly clear quartz and amethyst crystals. Rare emeralds, blue-green aquamarines, shiny feldspars, and delicately beautiful micas will also be on display. The exhibition will be located on the gallery level of Pavilion B and will feature five hundred exhibits.
Program for Children and Adults
Another way to explore the secrets of the inanimate world will be at stands offering programs not only for children. A long-standing tradition is the participation of the Department of Geological Sciences of Masaryk University in Brno, which regularly presents a glimpse into the world of mineralogy and paleontology. At their stand, visitors can examine the natural world through microscopes and other scientific instruments, with experts on hand to provide detailed explanations. At another exhibit, children will have the chance to try out real geological work by extracting fossils from small clay bricks, panning for gold, and other hands-on activities.
Workshops and Creative Corners
Do you enjoy crafts and handmade work? Then you definitely shouldn’t miss Minerals Brno. Several exhibitors traditionally offer the chance to take part in making your own jewelry or other unique stone creations. There’s nothing more satisfying than seeing the result of your own work and taking home a beautiful item you made yourself.
