Energy, Soil and Forest: The Potential of Biomass for Sustainable Development

As part of the Biomass 2026 trade fair, an expert lecture block titled “Energy, Soil and Forest: The Potential of Biomass for Sustainable Development” will take place, offering an up-to-date overview of the use of biomass, biogas and biomethane in the Czech Republic.
The program will present the latest findings, strategies and practical experiences in the field of sustainable energy and bioeconomy. The discussion will also focus on the quality and availability of wood biomass, the use of forest biomass and biowaste, composting, and the energy potential of these resources.
