The AMPER 2026 Trade Fair Has Just Begun – Brno Comes Alive with Electrical Technology and Innovation
March 17, 2026 / 10:29 AM
The largest professional trade fair for electrical engineering, electronics, and energy—AMPER—kicked off today in Brno. This three day platform offers an overview of the latest technological trends, innovations, and business opportunities. The fair takes place from March 17 to 19, 2026, at the Brno Exhibition Centre, and this year it is newly organized by Veletrhy Brno.
Across more than 54,000 m² of exhibition space, a total of 468 companies from 32 countries are presenting their products and solutions, with more than 40% of participants coming from abroad. This international presence attracts the attention of professionals and global partners, confirming AMPER's strengthened position as a key meeting point for industry and technology in Central Europe.
This year's AMPER program also expands with several new formats. The accompanying program includes conferences, workshops, and panel discussions focused on cybersecurity, energy, smart buildings, and the digital transformation of manufacturing. For example, the Smart Industry – AMPER Edition section offers thematically structured lectures and case studies linking technologies with their practical impacts in real operations.
Visitors can also take advantage of matchmaking through the Kontakt-Kontrakt project, which enables targeted B2B meetings between exhibitors, suppliers, and investors, or visit the prestigious Golden AMPER competition, which evaluates the most innovative technological exhibits in the field.
This year’s AMPER therefore offers not only a large exhibition of companies presenting modern technologies but also inspiring expert content. The trade fair is an ideal opportunity to meet key market players, establish new contacts, and gain inspiration for future challenges in electrical engineering and energy.
