AMPER 2027: Three Days of Technology, Business and New Connections

AMPER enters 2027 with the ambition to further develop the traditional trade fair format and offer even more reasons to bring companies, professionals, schools, students and the general public together in one place. It will build on the successful 2026 edition, the first organized by Veletrhy Brno, which attracted more than 27,000 visitors and 468 exhibiting companies from 33 countries.

“The successful 2026 edition confirmed that AMPER has enormous potential not only as a place to showcase technologies, but above all as a platform for business, knowledge sharing and bringing the entire industry together. In 2027, we want to develop this direction further and introduce new formats that connect technology with people, new business opportunities and the future of technical professions,” says Michalis Busios, Director of AMPER. 

AMPER has long ranked among the most important events in electrical engineering, electronics and energy in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. It brings together manufacturers, technology suppliers, designers, investors, professional institutions, schools and industry professionals. In addition to company exhibitions, it offers a conference and discussion programme covering energy, digital transformation, automation, e-mobility, smart buildings, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.

The fair also attracts a highly professional, industry-focused audience. Two-thirds of visitors are involved in decision-making processes within their companies. 

ELKOV elektro and VARNET: Bringing High- and Low-Voltage Technologies Together Across 2,000 m²

“2027 will be an opportunity for both ELKOV elektro and VARNET to celebrate 35 years in the market. We therefore see AMPER as the ideal opportunity not only to show how far we have come, but also to present the direction in which we want to move forward together in the years ahead,” says Michal Vodička, owner of both companies.

At AMPER 2027, ELKOV elektro and VARNET will have the largest exhibition space at the fair, covering 2,000 m².

The exhibition will offer a unique combination of high- and low-voltage technologies under one roof. Key suppliers of both companies will present their latest innovations in electrical installations, security technologies, photovoltaics, lighting, tools, measurement and control, and industrial automation. 

AMPER JOBS Will Connect Technology Companies with New Talent

One of the major new features of the 2027 edition will be AMPER JOBS, a career platform located directly within the trade fair. Its aim is to shorten the path from initial contact to a specific career opportunity while giving technology companies space to showcase not only their vacancies, but also their technologies, corporate culture and real-life stories of the people behind their businesses.

The project will connect employers, technical schools, universities, students, graduates and people considering a career change. It will build on the AMPER INNOVATION HUB, which provides a platform for universities and applied research projects and strengthens links between education, research and industry. While the Innovation Hub brings technical fields and their future closer to visitors, AMPER JOBS will provide a dedicated space for companies and talent to meet face to face. 

An important part of the project will be the CAREER STAGE. Its programme will feature short company presentations, career stories, discussions about the skills of the future, and live debates with HR professionals and industry experts. Planned topics include women in technical professions, employment opportunities for people with disabilities and inspiring stories from industry leaders.

For companies, this will be an opportunity to combine recruitment with employer branding, expert content and direct personal contact at one of the industry’s leading events. 

AMPER e-mobility Expands into an Entire Hall and Outdoor Areas

The AMPER e-mobility section, one of the major attractions of the 2026 edition, will move into a dedicated hall in response to strong interest. It will showcase e-mobility in its full scope, connecting vehicles, charging infrastructure, energy and the user experience.

During the fair, visitors will once again be able to take part in test drives and attend the programme on the E-STAGE. It will feature interviews, discussions on the electrification of commercial transport and a panel of leading experts focusing on technologies, batteries, infrastructure, safety and the practical conditions needed for the further development of e-mobility.

Ahead of the official opening of the fair, the organizers are also preparing a special event for exhibitors, partners and the wider public, featuring Formula Student teams and their racing cars.
