Harting: Industrial and Railway Connectors Built to Last
March 18, 2026 / 9:31 AM
Harting is one of the traditional exhibitors at the Amper trade fair. This year, the company has brought primarily industrial and railway connectors designed for trains, other transportation vehicles, and newly also for drones. We spoke with technical consultant Tomáš Ledvina about what makes their products unique and how visitors are responding.
What are you presenting at this year’s Amper trade fair?
Harting is a regular exhibitor at Amper. Once again, we’ve brought industrial connectors, which form the foundation of our production. A large portion consists of railway connectors designed for trains and other transport vehicles—and newly also for drones.
What makes your products better than the competition?
Definitely their durability. Our connectors are robust, resilient, and their properties do not change over time—they last for many years.
Where are they manufactured?
Production takes place partly in Germany and partly in Romania. But we have factories all over the world, because we are a global manufacturer supplying the Asian and American markets as well.
How strong is visitor interest in your products?
Yesterday morning it was literally packed—we couldn’t keep up at all. Now it’s a bit calmer, so we can give customers more in‑depth attention. This year’s attendance is comparable to, or even better than, previous years. In the afternoon, we expect a visit from representatives of the German Embassy, who reached out to us themselves and want to stop by our booth.
