The new AGRISHOW trade fair concept promises a major return of agriculture to the Brno Exhibition Centre

January 13, 2026  /  12:46 PM

From 12 to 15 April, the Brno Exhibition Centre will host a comprehensive complex of agricultural and forestry trade fairs. Its main pillars will be AGRISHOW, a fair focused on crop and livestock production, and the National Livestock Exhibition. Held concurrently will be the International Forestry and Hunting Fair SILVA REGINA and the BIOMASA Fair of Renewable Energy Sources in Agriculture and Forestry.

The entire fair complex will offer a comprehensive overview of current trends in crop and animal production, livestock breeding, forestry, and hunting. The agricultural and forestry fairs will occupy almost the entire exhibition grounds. Livestock will be located in a pavilion and its surroundings, horses in Pavilion F, forestry and hunting in Pavilion Z and the adjacent outdoor areas, while agricultural machinery will be displayed throughout the rest of the exhibition area.

On 13 April, the Czech Agrarian Chamber will hold the conference “How to Adapt Agriculture to Climate Change” in the Rotunda. Visitors from the agricultural sector may also find the accompanying programme of the BIOMASA fair of interest, as it will address, among other topics, the energy use of composts.

The most significant new feature of the AGRISHOW fair will be the outdoor AGRIARENA area next to Pavilion Z, a special dynamic zone designed for live demonstrations of large agricultural machinery in operation. The project is being developed in cooperation with the Association of Agricultural Machinery Importers, which will prepare a rich and attractive programme for visitors, including guided presentations, test drives, and competitive activities.

The fair will also include the Smart Farm project, presenting visitors with an overview of the latest technologies and trends in Smart Farming. Smart Farm was introduced for the first time at the Brno agricultural and forestry fairs in 2024 and this year builds on a proven concept. Representatives of academia and industry experts will present specific solutions aimed at more efficient and sustainable farming. Expert lectures will take place mainly from Monday to Wednesday.

The National Livestock Exhibition will be located in Pavilion P. Several hundred farm animals will be on display, primarily beef and dairy cattle, as well as sheep, goats, and pigs. Beef cattle will be presented in national championships, while other cattle breeds will be shown in guided presentations and junior team programmes. There will also be an extensive programme dedicated to horses. The National Livestock Exhibition will additionally include a beekeeping exhibition and the sale of regional food products.

For 2026, special conditions are being prepared for group visits (coach tours), which will benefit from reduced admission from Sunday to Tuesday and free entry on Wednesday. For individual visitors, purchasing tickets online offers the best value.
