Western and Mountain Trail to Showcase 30 Horses

Around thirty horses — not only American breeds such as Quarter Horses, Paint Horses, and Appaloosas, but also ponies — will be presented in demonstrations in the main arena as well as on the mountain trail course during the Horse Exhibition in Brno (at Agrishow). Visitors can look forward to fast-paced working race competitions, mountain trail ridden without a bit, liberty work, and handling from the ground.

The outdoor mountain trail course will be moderated throughout by judges, giving spectators a unique look behind the scenes of this young sport, which emphasizes harmony and partnership between horse and rider.

From Western Riding Club’s western program, popular ranch disciplines will be shown, focusing on the suppleness and maneuverability of a working ranch horse, along with dynamic reining. There will also be a presentation of American horses ridden in English-style saddles, the so called hunter classes.

Part of the program will take place in the round pen — three riding schools will perform demonstrations, various ranches will show the training of young horses, and spectators can enjoy the communication game Equipoint with a horse at liberty. Special attention throughout all presentations will be given to junior riders, who will appear across the entire program for all four days. Among them will be reigning Champions and Titleholders of Czech Mountain Trail, z.s.
