Forestry and Hunting at the Brno Exhibition Centre
March 2, 2026 / 1:34 PM
From 12 to 15 April 2026, the Brno Exhibition Centre will host the SILVA REGINA forestry and hunting fair. Running concurrently will be the AGRISHOW agricultural fair covering both crop and livestock production, the National Livestock Exhibition, and the BIOMASA fair, focused on renewable energy in agriculture and forestry.
SILVA REGINA will be located in Pavilions Z and F and the adjacent outdoor areas. Visitors can look forward to a wide range of forestry machinery, hunting-related equipment, trophy exhibitions, presentations on the energy use of biomass, boilers, and a beekeeping exhibition.
Forestry Machinery
SILVA REGINA will showcase most of the major importers and manufacturers of forestry machinery active on the Czech and Slovak markets. All key sectors will be represented, offering a full range of equipment for work in the forest—especially machinery for timber harvesting and extraction.
Visitors will see harvesters, loaders, forwarders, tractors with forestry attachments, winches, machinery for timber skidding, as well as chain and band saws. The exhibition will also feature equipment for primary wood processing, such as chippers and log splitters.
Among the brands on display will be JOHN DEERE, SENNEBOGEN, LKT, ARJES, POSCH, LASKI, KAPSEN, KINETIC, ROTTNE, PILOUS, and others.
In addition to machinery manufacturers, the fair will also host universities and specialised forestry institutions. Communal equipment will also be exhibited across the SILVA REGINA and AGRISHOW stands.
Throughout the entire presentation, the strong trend toward digitalisation and robotics—increasingly shaping modern forest management—will be clearly visible.

Hunting as an Integral Part of Forestry
SILVA REGINA traditionally includes a major hunting section. Its centrepiece is the stage in Pavilion Z, offering a programme tailored both to professionals and the general public. Alongside stage presentations, the fair will feature several trophy exhibitions, demonstrations of traditional hunting crafts, and forest pedagogy activities.
As part of BIOMASA 2026, an expert lecture block titled “Energy, Soil and the Forest: The Potential of Biomass for Sustainable Development” will take place. Forestry-related topics will include lectures such as Quality and Availability of Woody Biomass for Energy Production, Current Use of Energy Biomass by Czech Forests, and Forest Biomass from Thinnings and Prunings – Use Through Composting and Combustion.
On Sunday and Monday, visitors will also be able to watch the popular STIHL TIMBERSPORTS competitions.
Practical Information
The exhibition grounds will be open daily from 9:00 to 18:00 (on Wednesday until 17:00). The most favourable ticket prices for individual visitors are available through the fair’s website.
