We are happy to invite you to join our new international project brought to you by HEDVA ČESKÝ BROKÁT and BVV Brno, the BPM organizer. Our regular visitors were used for many years to find a special collection made by authors from the whole Czech Republic based on a selection of fabrics brought to us from various exotic destinations. In 2023 we introduced a new project based on African brocades by Veba Broumov.

VierMa is a colourful world of cotton fabrics and ribbons by international designers such as Kaffe Fassett, Philip Jacobs, Brandon Mably, Tula Pink, Ruby Star Society, Anna Maria Horner, William Morris, Odile Bailloeul and more.

HEDVA ČESKÝ BROKÁT, s.r.o. is a traditional Czech company that produces jacquard fabrics. The most important products include the production of historical and costume brocade fabrics, fabrics for fashion accessories, furnishing and decorative fabrics, linings and fabrics for funeral purposes. COLORMINDS is a Dutch group of 8 art quilters (since October 2013). Each individual has a successful career as an art quilter. They had exhibitions in the Netherlands and the rest of the world or their work was part of travelling exhibitions.

Every year, the European Patchwork Meeting holds an International Contest for quilters worldwide. In 2023, the theme was “Tribes”, a broad concept allowing various creative interpretations.

20 Perspectives is an international collective of textile artists formed in 2022. In Brno we are pleased to present quilts of two of our seven projects thus far. Our artwork has been exhibited throughout Europe and North America.
