The traditional manufacturer of metal band saws also presented a high-speed circular saw for the first time in Hall V. Another machine on display - the 540 HORIZONT X double-column band saw - won one of the three premiere MSV Industrial Design Awards.

Technological innovations were presented at the Brno Exhibition Centre by 1,386 exhibiting companies from 42 countries around the world. During four days of the expo, their stands were seen by more than 55 thousand visitors, mainly technicians and businesspeople who need to introduce innovation into practice rather quickly. 

The best places are far away from busy roads, the really best places are off-road and unconnected, and Eura Mobil's X-tura has been designed to make them easy to reach. This is truly a long-distance motorhome that will climb slopes up to 22 degrees. It's designed to last its crew 30 days without being connected to the mains (the manufacturer calculates 2 hours of driving a day).

Design Centrum CzechTrade, the national platform for state support of design and guarantor for the design sector, announced the first ever Industrial Design Award at the International Industrial Fair in Brno. The award ceremony took place on 9 October 2024 in the unique SONO music club.

CyberSecurity Hub is an expert organisation for cyber security founded by three universities: the Masaryk University, the Czech Technical University in Prague and the Brno University of Technology.

The Rotunda, full of exhibitors and VIP guests, heard seven speeches and was also the venue for the MSV 2024 Gold Medal award ceremony.

Petr Pavel, President of the Czech Republic, set aside at least a few hours in his busy schedule to visit the MSV. His trip to Brno before visiting the exhibition centre included a meeting at the headquarters of the National Cyber and Information Security Agency, where he learned about the current challenges in the area of cyber security. This is, of course, a hot topic for the International Industrial Fair, which this year deals with similar topics.

The International Industrial Fair is the most important Central European industrial fair, which every year presents many novelties as indicators of innovation in industry, but it is also an important platform for business. Its 65th anniversary edition was also attended by the following personalities: Czech PM Petr Fiala, new Minister of Industry and Trade Lukáš Vlček, Minister of Transport Martin Kupka, Minister of the Environment Petr Hladík, President of the Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic Jan Rafaj and a number of other guests, who together went to visit selected stands.

Gold medals have been awarded at the MSV for 50 years. Six exhibits won this year's awards, and Prime Minister Petr Fiala also congratulated the winners. The ceremony of announcing the results and presenting the awards took place in the rotunda of Pavilion A as part of the opening ceremony of MSV 2024.
