AMPER SUMMIT 2026: Key strategies for the development of modern energy

Brno Trade Fairs, as the new organizer of the AMPER trade fair, together with the Czech Chamber of Commerce and the Regional Chamber of Commerce of the South Moravian Region, are preparing the prestigious AMPER SUMMIT conference platform as part of AMPER 2026. The main partner of the event is ČEZ.
The AMPER SUMMIT conference will be subtitled Key Strategies for the Development of Modern Energy. The event aims to open a discussion on the future of Czech and European energy in the context of security, competitiveness, and technological transformation. The conference will feature speeches by Minister of Industry and Trade Karel Havlíček, President of the Czech Chamber of Commerce Zdeněk Zajíček, Josef Kotrba from the Czech Energy Association, and other experts and prominent figures from the field.
Strategic directions for Czech energy
The first block will focus on the stability and security of the energy system and the conditions for its long-term sustainable growth. Discussions will cover the government's energy strategy, the impact of European climate policy, the energy security of the Czech economy, and the need to build new sources. Another important topic will be the modernization of the transmission system and the prevention of outages at a time of growing demands on the grid.
The future of energy in an international context
The second block will open up questions about the further development of energy at the international level. Topics related to the construction of new nuclear sources, the modernization and extension of the life of existing power plants, the conversion of coal sources, and the role of gas in the transition period will be discussed. The discussion will also touch on investments in networks, the importance of subcontracting chains, the development of energy storage, and the role of aggregators in managing decentralized sources.
AMPER SUMMIT will take place on March 17, 2026, in the Špilberk Hall at kongresák.space.
