Patchwork Star by Jana Dušková – fabrics, inspiration and expertise in one place

Jana Dušková brings to BPM, under the Patchwork Star brand, a carefully selected range of fabrics, tools, and materials for patchwork. Visitors can look forward to a wide assortment, including collections from international brands, as well as expert advice based on many years of teaching and personal experience.

My name is Jana Dušková, and through my brand Patchwork Star, I select fabrics, tools, and materials to make your sewing more enjoyable. At my stand, you will find a wide selection of patchwork fabrics, including panels and fat quarters (FQ). I also offer Mettler quilting threads, essential patchwork supplies, nonwoven textiles, and I will be happy to help you choose a new sewing machine. I have been dedicated to patchwork since 2002, and since 2004 it has been not only my passion but also my profession. For many years, I have been teaching patchwork courses—from complete beginners to advanced techniques. Since 2023, all courses have been held online, making them accessible to anyone across the Czech Republic and Slovakia. More information can be found on my main website: patchwork-star.cz

You may remember me from last year’s Brno Patchwork Meeting, where I exhibited my work in the “Star of Czech Patchwork” gallery. This year, you will find me in the central sales area, on the right-hand side behind the main entrance, at stand no. 13.

I will bring mainly fabrics from the American company QT Fabrics, complemented by a Christmas collection from Stof Fabrics—and if all goes well, you can also look forward to a brand-new collection of coordinating fabrics. The offer will include fabrics by the metre, FQs, and panels.

I will also be happy to prepare packages of items from my e-shop in advance, even those I will not physically bring to the exhibition. Simply place your order in advance for personal pickup and include a note indicating collection at the exhibition.
