Gallery Fifteeen by Fifteen, Decay - Maryte Collard

An international group of 15 contemporary textile artists has been collaborating since 2013, creating themed quilts every eight weeks. Their work combines diverse techniques and perspectives, resulting in visually rich collections. The 2025 theme “Decay” inspired a striking series of pieces showcasing creativity, skill and artistic expression.
We are an international group of 15 contemporary textile artists from around the world, formed in 2013. We come together to challenge one another to produce 15 x 15 inch, (38 x 38 cm) square quilts every eight weeks based on a theme which is decided in advance. We display our results in our public online gallery, and on there we provide feedback to each other. We also keep in touch through weekly emails and that has helped a group of ladies from around the world to become firm friends.
In 2025 our challenge was Decay and each member was free to create the six pieces on different subjects. It resulted in a great variety of techniques and high quality of skills creating a wonderful gallery of work that we hope will entertain and captivate you.
