She has been involved in textile art since her early youth – from garment sewing to exploring a wide range of textile techniques. As a long-time chairwoman of the Bohemia Patchwork Club and a co-creator of important projects, she now combines traditional approaches with natural dyeing techniques, especially eco-print. At BPM 2026, she will present a selection of quilts from different periods of her work.

I have been involved with textiles since my early youth. I sewed clothes, discovered various textile techniques for myself…I graduated from the School Institute of Artistic Production in Prague. I worked for the Center for Folk Artistic Production. I then taught textile techniques in various courses.

After the establishment of the Bohemia Patchwork Club, I fell in love with patchwork. From classic patchwork patterns to modern techniques in quilt making. Currently, I prefer various natural dyeing techniques, especially eco print. As the long-time chair of the Bohemia Patchwork Club, I organized its activities, organized courses, competitions, and various domestic and foreign projects.

After the Prague Patchwork Meeting exhibition was established, I actively participated in its organization. I exhibited at many domestic and foreign exhibitions independently or as part of various groups. I founded the groups Ten to Twelve (Zašitá krása) and Harmony in the Stitches (HiS).

For the BPM 2026 exhibition, I selected several quilts from different periods of my work.
