The Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at the University of Žilina in Žilina will present an exhibition full of technical innovations and interactive experiments at the AMPER 2026 trade fair.
At the international trade fair AMPER 2026, held in Brno, we will present an attractive exhibition full of technological innovations and interactive experiments. Our booth will offer visitors a unique opportunity to explore the world of modern technologies and experience firsthand the principles that shape today’s and tomorrow’s industry.
One of the main highlights will be the steer-by-wire system – a vehicle control technology that operates without a mechanical connection between the steering wheel and the wheels. The system functions entirely through electronic signal transmission, opening new possibilities in safety, autonomous driving, and vehicle design. Visitors will be able to test how precisely and responsively such a system reacts to steering input.
A major attraction will also be the Tesla coil, showcasing impressive high-voltage electrical discharges synchronized with music. This iconic demonstration presents the principles of high-frequency voltage and wireless energy transmission in a visually spectacular way.
An entertaining and educational exhibit will be the Flying Glasses experiment. This demonstration of precise synchronization between moving glass cups and a metal propeller highlights the importance of motion control, stability, and timing in technical systems.
The interactive electric hand will allow visitors to feel the power of electrically driven “muscles.” This exhibit introduces the principles of mechatronics, robotics, and modern electric drives used in industry and healthcare.
The mechanical coupling simulator will clearly demonstrate how forces are transmitted between different components in mechanical systems. Through hands-on examples, visitors will better understand how gears, couplings, and other mechanical linkages function.
A visually striking feature will also be the rotating LED display, which creates images using rapidly spinning light sources. This effect demonstrates the principle of persistence of vision and the application of LED technology in dynamic visual displays.
Most of the exhibits are interactive, allowing visitors not only to observe physical principles but to actively experience them. The booth of the Fakulta elektrotechniky a informačných technológií Žilinskej univerzity will offer a unique combination of science, research, innovation, and entertainment.
Come and discover how electrical engineering is shaping the future!
