The Smart Industry project is expanding its program with a new stop. On the first day of the AMPER trade fair, a special edition of the Smart Industry conference will take place in the rotunda of the Brno Exhibition Center, reinforcing the industrial dimension of the AMPER trade fair.

Smart Industry as a platform for modern manufacturing

Trade Media International, Czechoslovak Group, and Pocket Virtuality are preparing a special edition of the Smart Industry conference for Tuesday, March 17, 2026, directly at the AMPER trade fair in Brno. The aim is to emphasize the industrial dimension of the AMPER trade fair: technologies for manufacturing, automation, robotics, industrial AI, process digitization, and cybersecurity.

"Smart Industry was created to connect technology, business, and people from manufacturing. With its declared new support for our topics, AMPER is a natural place where this connection can be even stronger. Exhibitors, integrators, and manufacturing companies will meet in one place," says Lukáš Smelík, Managing Director of Trade Media International, on behalf of the organizers.

"Within the Czechoslovak Group, we have long supported projects that have a practical impact on the modernization of industry. We see the merger of the AMPER trade fair and the Smart Industry project as a logical step. It provides space not only for technologies, but also for discussion on how to realistically implement them in production," adds Bohuslav Paule, CEO of Pocket Virtuality and Lumnio

Over the past two years, the Smart Industry project has established itself as one of the key events for the manufacturing, service, and maintenance sectors. In 2024, it was held for the first time in Kopřivnice and focused on the practical use of artificial intelligence and augmented reality in manufacturing, service, and maintenance, including testing devices such as smart glasses and Apple Vision Pro, and a visit to the Tatra Trucks production plant. In 2025, the conference moved to the Pardubice Palace. The two-day program attracted over 350 experts, offering lectures by personalities such as Jiří Rusnok, excursions to the Wienerberger, RETIA, and ELDIS plants, and panel discussions on industrial AI, digitization, change management, and intergenerational transfer of know-how.

Two ways to experience Smart Industry at AMPER

SMART INDUSTRY – AMPER EDITION will offer two ways to approach the topic of industry at the AMPER trade fair from a visitor's perspective:

One-day conference Smart Industry – AMPER Edition (March 17, 2026)

Participants will gain access to a curated conference program on the first day of the AMPER trade fair. The program will focus on industrial artificial intelligence, production automation, maintenance efficiency, digitization of documentation, energy savings, and specific case studies from Czech and foreign companies. It thus follows up on topics that appeared in Smart Industry in 2024 and 2025.

The day will also include networking directly at the exhibition grounds among the AMPER exhibitors' stands.

Visit the SMART INDUSTRY exhibition at the AMPER trade fair

For visitors who cannot spend the whole day at the conference, a thematic exhibition called SMART INDUSTRY will be set up at the AMPER trade fair. Visitors will be able to see practical demonstrations of solutions for industry, from the digitization of maintenance, through data processing and industrial AI, to advanced visualization and augmented reality. At the same time, they will have the opportunity to obtain a recording of the conference program for later viewing. As a bonus, part of the program will also be available on the second AMPER stage, which is being prepared directly at the trade fair in Hall P.
