Schneider Electric to show the way to ecological electricity distribution at AMPER 2026

February 24, 2026  /  11:50 AM

Schneider Electric will present modern solutions for modern and sustainable electricity distribution at the AMPER 2026 trade fair in Brno. The main attraction of the exhibition will be the RM AirSeT high-voltage switchgear, which uses clean air instead of the greenhouse gas SF₆ and responds to new European regulatory requirements. Customers will find the Schneider Electric exhibition in Hall P, stand number P223.

The AMPER 2026 trade fair and the Schneider Electric exhibition should not escape the attention of energy specialists who, within energy companies, development projects, manufacturing companies or municipalities, are looking for new ways to make electricity distribution more environmentally friendly. In Brno, the company will present specific technological solutions that respond to new regulatory requirements and that already work today in the conditions of Czech distribution companies.

Schneider Electric’s main attraction at the fair

The main attraction of Schneider Electric’s exhibition at AMPER 2026 will be the introduction of a new generation of high-voltage switchgear, the RM AirSeT, which uses clean air instead of the greenhouse gas SF₆.

Today, utilities, developers, manufacturing companies and municipalities face a significant opportunity to modernize their infrastructure to meet strict environmental criteria while increasing operational reliability. The European Union has adopted a regulation banning the use of SF₆ gas in high-voltage switchgear up to 24 kV, which fundamentally changes the approach to the design and installation of distribution equipment.

Although SF₆ has been the standard for many years due to its excellent insulating properties, its impact on global warming is extremely high. When released into the atmosphere, it persists for thousands of years, and its elimination from distribution equipment is therefore an important step towards a greener energy system.

One of the most striking technological responses to these challenges is the SF₆-free switchgear from Schneider Electric’s portfolio. The RM AirSeT model, which will be the main attraction of the AMPER 2026 exhibition, combines clean air and vacuum technology instead of greenhouse gases and brings an ecological design without compromising on safety, reliability or performance.

“SF₆-free switchgear is used not only in distribution networks, but also in industrial enterprises, office buildings, residential projects, electromobility infrastructure or data centers. I am pleased that our partners in the Czech Republic are also using this technology,” says Pavel Bezucký, CEO of Schneider Electric.

“The energy sector is undergoing a fundamental transformation today. Our goal is to offer customers solutions that will meet strict legislative requirements, increase operational reliability and at the same time help reduce the impact on the environment,” adds Pavel Bezucký.

Schneider Electric cordially invites its partners, customers and the professional public to visit its stand at the AMPER 2026 trade fair in Brno – the exhibition will be located in Hall P, stand number P223.

The electrical network of the future will not only be reliable and efficient, but above all free of harmful greenhouse gases such as SF₆.
