Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence is a leading global manufacturer and supplier of 3D measurement systems and solutions for processing measurement data. At MSV 2025, they will showcase three major innovations.
MAESTRO coordinate measuring machine
The MAESTRO coordinate measuring machine will make its premiere in the Czech Republic. It is a fully digital, high-performance, and automatable solution designed to adapt to the ever-changing demands of production. It sets a new standard in accuracy, speed, and connectivity in metrology, delivering high-speed, repeatable, and precise measurements. Thanks to its optimized mechanical design, digital architecture, and advanced sensors, MAESTRO achieves sub-micron accuracy even at high motion dynamics. Its intuitive user interface and cloud-based metrology applications ensure efficient operation for both experienced and less experienced operators.
Direct laser scanning
Another innovation is the Leica Absolute Tracker ATS800. It provides direct laser scanning with metrological accuracy down to hundredths of a millimeter. The scanning range extends up to 40 meters without requiring the operator to be near the measured object. It can measure features such as holes, grooves, and edges—capabilities previously possible only with traditional scanners. The system operates in both manual and automated modes. This represents a significant shift in measuring large and complex components, eliminating the need for work at heights or complicated handling.
Modern handheld scanner
The HYPERSCAN handheld scanner is a modern scanning system designed for fast, precise, and flexible 3D inspection of medium to large-sized components. It represents a cutting-edge solution for 3D scanning, combining high-speed data acquisition with real-time dynamic tracking, multi-mode scanning, and measurement without the need for targets. Capable of capturing up to 8.3 million points per second, HYPERSCAN enables efficient 3D inspection of large or highly detailed components. It supports scanning across a wide range of applications, including quality control and reverse engineering.
