The Danish Patchwork Association is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. We are happy to exchange exhibitions and teachers with other countries and are collaborating with EQA.

With this Danish quilt exhibition, we would like to showcase examples of quilts from a range of different categories: from Traditional Quilts and Pictorial Quilts to Modern Quilts and Young Quilters´.

In particular, we are delighted to display 30 fairy-tale quilts made by the Limfjord Group - quilts featuring themes from the fairy-tales of the world-renowned Danish poet Hans Christian Andersen.

We hope the quilts in this exhibition will serve as inspiration to other quilters, regardless of traditions or their preferred fabrics and colours.
