The South Moravian Children’s Medical Facilities provide comprehensive treatment for children from across the Czech Republic in three specialized centers. They focus on respiratory diseases, obesity, and movement disorders, offering individualized care in a family-like environment of smaller facilities.

The South Moravian Children’s Medical Facilities are a healthcare institution addressing a wide range of pediatric diagnoses. The organization consists of three specialized treatment centers, each focused on specific conditions and equipped with tailored treatment programs.

All three facilities operate in a family-style setting with approximately 40 beds each. Children from all over the Czech Republic are admitted based on a referral from a pediatrician. Treatment stays are covered by health insurance.

The Křetín Children’s Medical Facility specializes in the treatment of eating disorders, particularly obesity and overweight, as well as chronic respiratory diseases and milder forms of postural disorders.

The Boskovice Children’s Facility for Movement Disorders focuses on treating cerebral palsy and other orthopedic and neurological conditions.

The Ostrov u Macochy Children’s Facility with speleotherapy specializes in the treatment of asthma and other respiratory diseases using cave-based therapy (speleotherapy).
