WORLDIA: Meet the Experts for PCD and CBN Cutting Tools and Materials
July 2, 2025 / 2:04 PM
Worldia focuses on research and development, production, sales and service of high-precision cutting tools. It is going to MSV for the second time and is looking forward to meeting new European customers.
This year, we will focus on components for e-mobility and on demanding machining tasks in the aerospace, energy, medical, electronics and stamping industries.
PCD milling cutters
WORLDIA’s standard and customized PCD milling cutters as well as multi-purpose PCD reaming/ boring/ milling tools produce components like Aluminum E-motor housings, battery compartments and chassis components with highest productivity and accuracy. Our PCD endmills with helical cutting edges ensure smooth cutting action even at workpieces with thin walls such as scroll compressors. At MSV, we will showcase some typical tools but will also emphasize our capability to provide complete tooling packages.

Besides the housings, there are plenty of hardened steel components like drive shafts, gears and CV joints that require hard turning or hard milling with CBN tools. WORLDIA offers a wide range of CBN inserts for continuous and interrupted cut, most of them next day from our warehouse in Germany. WORLDIA’s state-of-art coated and uncoated ball track milling cutters support our customers in reducing tooling cost per part.

CVD-Diamond tools and integral PCD drills and milling cutters
As second focus, we will show how WORLDIA faces the challenges of providing tools for materials that are difficult to machine. For hard and brittle materials like glass, ceramics, tungsten carbide, composites and graphite, WORLDIA is one of the few companies that can offer CVD-Diamond tools and integral PCD drills and milling cutters, starting from 0,1 mm diameter. WORLDIA is one of the trend setters in this segment, as we develop and produce CVDD and PCD materials in-house. Diamond-coated carbide endmills complete our portfolio in this segment.
In contradiction, tough materials like Titanium and Nickel-basis alloys require completely different approaches. Also here, WORLDIA has developed tools with appropriate CBN, PCD and CVD-Diamond grades and geometries that ensure efficient machining of such components from Medical, Aerospace and Energy industries.
Further challenges offer long-chipping materials such as pure Copper, low Silicon Aluminum alloys or lead-free brass. As a result of comprehensive test series and industrial experience, WORLDIA has designed dedicated chip-former geometries and proprietary laser equipment to keep chips short and to increase the lifetime of PCD inserts at the same time. Some typical examples can be seen on our MSV booth in Brno.
About us
Worldia was established in 2006. The roots of Worldia go back to 2000. As Hi-Tech enterprise, Worldia focuses on research and development, production, sales and service of high-precision cutting tools. Meanwhile, Worldia has 11 subsidiaries with more than 1100 employees, thereof 150 in R&D, and was amongst the first 25 technology companies listed in Chinese star stock market. With 5 production sites and more than 170000 sqm manufacturing area, end-to-end inhouse expertise and state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment, today Worldia is one of the largest producers of PCBN and PCD inserts worldwide.
Our product portfolio includes high-precision PCBN, PCD and CVD diamond cutting tools, carbide round tools, inserts and toolholders. Having a comprehensive program of ManaNova standard products available from our warehouses within 1 week max, Worldia is also flexible and fast in delivering semistandard and customized tools.
Under our Supower brand, we produce PCD, CVD diamond and MCD functional materials and blanks.
Based on integrity, highest quality standards and professional technical support, we are honored to count top enterprises in all industry segments to our customers.
With our first abroad subsidiary Worldia Europe GmbH near Stuttgart, Germany, we have started to expand our own global sales and service network to serve our international customers even better. In 2025, Worldia has opened subsidiaries in Singapore and Mexico.
