Prusa Research at MSV 2026: Silicone Printing, an Innovative SLA Ecosystem & 8-Material Printing

July 13, 2026  /  10:08 AM

At MSV 2026, Prusa Research will showcase a broad portfolio of efficient 3D printing solutions for a wide range of industrial applications. Highlights include the Prusa Pro SLX SLA ecosystem, the new silicone toolhead for the Original Prusa XL, and the INDX upgrade, which enables the Prusa CORE One+ to print with up to eight materials in a single print with minimal waste.

Innovative SLA printing ecosystem

The Prusa Pro SLX is an innovative SLA printing ecosystem that combines printing, washing, and curing into a single workflow. It is designed to automate the entire process, from resin preparation to the finished part. The system uniquely combines three machines into a single solution, connected by sophisticated software that gives you complete control over the entire process without ever coming into contact with liquid resin. The SLX is an ideal solution for companies that require maximum control and reliability in SLA 3D printing.

New silicone toolhead

With the new silicone toolhead, you can print durable silicone directly on the Original Prusa XL multi-tool platform. Developed exclusively for the XL by startup Filament2, this toolhead is capable of printing liquid materials such as silicone. It enables the production of custom seals, silicone inserts, hinges, and many other functional parts. Until now, this type of technology was available only on industrial machines costing many times more. Prusa Research is bringing it to a proven desktop 3D printing platform.

The INDX upgrade

The INDX upgrade, developed in collaboration with Bondtech, is a revolutionary multi-material printing system for the Prusa CORE One+, enabling printing with up to eight materials in a single print. It uses a passive toolchanger with induction heating, allowing for incredibly fast tool changes while producing only a fraction of the waste generated by competing solutions. This unique multi-material system significantly expands the capabilities of the reliable and precise Prusa CORE One+.

Alongside these innovations, visitors to the Prusa Research booth can also see the Prusa Pro HT90, our most affordable industrial-grade 3D printer, as well as the Prusa CORE One L, our large-format enclosed CoreXY printer designed for reliable printing with advanced materials.
