Makino: Machine tools, which take productivity to the next level

Makino is one of the world's leading manufacturers of machine tool technology and services. Founded in 1937 in Japan, Makino currently employs approximately 4,800 people in the Americas, Europe and Asia.
Makino's broad portfolio of high-tech manufacturing solutions includes machine tools for the produc-tion of various parts as well as for the production of molds and tools, designed for a wide range of applications in the aerospace, automotive, engineering and semiconductor industries, as well as in the commercial vehicle and industrial component segments.
Makino Europe employs approximately 250 people in technology centers and offices in Germany, Italy, France, Spain, the Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia. It focuses on sales, application en-gineering, service and customer support.
During the MSV fair, Makino will present one of its latest five-axis horizontal machine tools, the a500iR, as well as the U6 wire EDM.
