Last chance to enter your exhibit in the MSV Gold Medal 2026 competition

The deadline for entries to the 60th anniversary edition of the MSV Gold Medal competition is approaching. Exhibitors and co-exhibitors have only until 25 September 2026 to enter their exhibits. The competition offers greater visibility at the trade fair, media support and an opportunity to distinguish their solutions from the competition. The winner of each of the three categories will also receive a cash prize of CZK 50,000.
The MSV Gold Medal returns this year in a modernised format. It will feature a newly appointed expert committee, a two-stage evaluation process and three competition categories. Evaluators from academia, industry and specialist media will focus not only on the technical standard of the exhibits, but also on their market readiness, cost-effectiveness, commercial potential, and environmental or social impact.
Every entered exhibit will receive attention
The competition benefits are available to exhibitors from the moment they enter. Every entered exhibit will receive a visible “ENTERED EXHIBIT” label directly at its trade fair stand. Entry also includes promotion on BVV Trade Fairs Brno’s website and social media channels, as well as in information materials and newsletters for exhibitors and industry visitors.
This gives entered innovations an opportunity to build awareness among industry professionals before the trade fair begins and to reach prospective customers, business partners and the media more effectively.
Finalists receive extended media support
Exhibits that advance to the final stage will be marked as a “COMPETITION FINALIST” at their stands. They will also receive extended coverage on the website and social media, publicity in press releases and online news coverage from the trade fair, as well as support from selected specialist media and media partners.
Promotion of the exhibits reaching the final stage does not end when the trade fair closes; it continues after the event.
CZK 50,000 awaits each category winner
The winner of each of the three competition categories will receive a cash prize of CZK 50,000, the MSV Gold Medal trophy and a diploma. The award-winning exhibit will be visibly marked directly at its stand and will receive a dedicated feature on the website, social media and in a selected specialist publication.
Winning companies may continue to use the competition logo to promote the award-winning product, support business negotiations and communicate with customers.
In 2026, MSV Gold Medals will be awarded in the following categories:
- MSV Gold Medal for Innovation in Industry,
- Technology Trade Fairs Gold Medal,
- Gold Medal for an Outstanding University Project.
How to enter the competition
An exhibit may be entered in the competition if it will be presented at MSV for the first time. A previously exhibited item may also be entered, provided it has undergone significant innovation.
The completed entry form, the relevant appendix, the required supporting materials and a high-quality photograph or visualisation of the exhibit must be sent no later than 25 September 2026 to jbilek@bvv.cz.
