Hembrug is a leading manufacturer and worldwide supplier of high precision finish hard turning machines and hybrid machines with turn/grind capabilities. We do this with a team of committed and skilled employees from our factory in Haarlem, the Netherlands. Hembrug belongs to the Spanish machine tool manufacturer DANOBAT.

Finish hard turning on a Mikroturn® lathe means:
- You can expect to achieve workpiece accuracies of ≤ 2 microns.
- You can machine complex geometric forms as well as multiple surfaces such as ODs and IDs in the same set-up using standard tooling.
- You will have a cost saving process. No need for additional machining steps or machines, reducing capital costs.

Core Technology

Applications
The Mikroturn® machines are flexible and capable of producing most any type of workpiece. They are used worldwide by high precision industries to produce components such as:

Obtainable workpiece tolerances up to 70 HRC

- Surface finish (Ra): 0.1 - 0.4 µm
A Mikroturn® for every type of workpiece
- For small to medium size parts up to 380 mm in diameter
- For heavy and large parts up to 610 mm in diameter
- For long workpieces up to 1000 mm in length
When is the hard turning process more advantageous than other machining processes?
- Round workpieces are geometrically complex and/or require a combination of ID/OD machining
