B.EYE gives robots sight. Handling automation from Blumenbecker Prag at MSV 2025

August 6, 2025  /  1:29 PM

Blumenbecker Prag delivers custom automation systems. At MSV 2025, they will present Bin Pickin technology, which allows robots to recognize and pick randomly stored parts using a 3D (HD) industrial camera.

Based on a precisely set up algorithm, the robotic arm selects individual parts from a specific area and systematically passes them on for further processing.

Our B.EYE solution is universal and widely applicable, for example in palletizing, depalletizing or machine tending. Thanks to high level of flexibility and our own development, we can fully adapt the solution to customer requirements. Whether it is the camera distance, container size, or the integration of a swing arm or linear movement system, everything is adjusted for the specific application.

The camera detection accuracy reaches ±2 mm for a typical container size of 1200 x 800 x 500 millimeters. Even higher precision can be achieved for smaller containers. The average cycle time ranges from 8 to 25 seconds. The system supports direct communication with robots KUKA, ABB and FANUC, which greatly simplifies integration into existing operations and removes the need for a PLC.
