T-Mobile Becomes the Technology Partner for Open 5G Hub Brno

T-Mobile has been selected as the technology provider for the Open 5G Hub Brno project at the Brno Exhibition Centre (BVV), following an open tender process. The contract has been successfully signed and thus we are officially launching the construction of the campus private 5G network.
This non-commercial network will serve members of the emerging BVV Living Lab, as well as other organizations interested in testing technologies in areas such as Smart City innovation, autonomous and unmanned mobility, energy, e-health, and more.
Private 5G network coverage will be available in a specified area within BVV premises - both outdoors and indoors pavilion P and surrounding the outdoor area of pavilions F and V. A detailed coverage map will be made available as the project progresses.
Interested in testing your technology?
Open 5G Hub Brno will be available for the first interested parties to test during 2026. If you are preparing a project or planning to test a product using the 5G network, please contact the BVV Living lab team.
