IMT

The IMT International Trade Fair for Machine Tools and Metal Forming has been held concurrently with the International Industrial Fair every even-numbered year since 1998. As the largest event of its kind in Central and Eastern Europe, it is organized with the support of CECIMO, the European Committee for Cooperation in the Machine Tool and Metal Forming Industries. 

MSV is the largest industrial trade fair in Central Europe. The key and most represented sector is machining and forming. Companies specializing in automation, electronics, industrial robots, measurement technology, plastics, welding, surface treatments, hydraulics, and materials and components also present their exhibits here. MSV is thus an ideal platform for establishing cross-industry cooperation. It attracts a high proportion of trade visitors and managers with decision-making authority. According to a 2025 survey, 82% of visitors were involved in investment decisions at their companies, and 68% were planning new investments. For many of them, the trade fair is a place where they select suppliers and establish business contacts—90% of visitors succeeded in achieving this goal at the fair, and 78% of them plan to attend again in 2026.
