SVOS Přelouč: Unique production for the army and two versions of the MARS armoured vehicles

SVOS Přelouč is a renowned and purely Czech company with more than 30 years of tradition. The production program is very broad despite considerable specialization. An important chapter in SVOS' activities is the development and production of military special vehicles. The result is the MARS 4x4 series of vehicles, on which the RBS 70NG air defence system from the Swedish company SAAB is integrated in the MSHORAD version. This assembly was awarded the "IDET Gold" award in 2023.
At IDET 2025, SVOS will present two versions of the MARS armoured vehicles in its separate stand in Hall P, Stand 30.
Specifically, the MARS 4x4 HT vehicle with the integrated MSHORAD air defence system, which can operate not only against helicopters, cruise missiles, but also against unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and drones of various categories. The RBS 70 NG anti-aircraft missile system integrated on MARS can operate day and night and can be quickly prepared for firing even in field conditions. The system has an effective range of 9 km and is capable of hitting targets up to 5 000 metres at a maximum missile speed of Mach 2.
In addition to this variant of MSHORAD, SVOS will present at IDET 2025 the MARS 4x4 armoured vehicle in the DoubleCabine modification. This version is ready for the installation of remote-controlled gun turrets of different calibre sizes and also for the use of the mortar as a self-propelled mortar system.
