BVV95 – celebration of the anniversary of the foundation of the Brno exhibition center

The Brno Exhibition Center opened with the Exhibition of Contemporary Culture on May 26, 1928. On an area of 26 hectares, 65 pavilions and stands with a total covered area of 20,000 square meters were available. The exhibition lasted until mid-October 1928 and 2,698,000 people came to see it.

The International Dog Show DUO CACIB with international participation of all breeds takes place in the Brno Exhibition Center on 28 -  29 January 2023, from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm . The organizer of this exhibition is the Czech-Moravian Cynological Union in Prague.

The new concept of food fairs under the SALIMATECH brand brings a perfect overview of Czech and foreign food suppliers, state-of-the-art technologies for food production, equipment for their processing, equipment and equipment of gastro operations, needs for milling, bakery and confectionery, wholesale and food distribution.

SALIMATECH is intended only for professional visitors and takes place every two years. At the same time, the fair is a platform for the exchange of experience in the introduction of innovations in the food industry.

As a specialised packaging and printing trade fair, EmbaxPrint is a venue for presenting new technologies, machinery, equipment, materials and services in the packaging and printing industry. EmbaxPrint is the largest specialised trade fair in Central Europe; it is an ideal way to accelerate the market and a space for competitive benchmarking. EmbaxPrint is a trade fair with long tradition in the Czech Republic and Slovakia; it offers a meeting point for experts and representatives of prominent Czech and foreign packaging and printing companies and addresses trade visitors from the areas of automotive, engineering, electrical industries, construction industries, pharmaceutical, food and cosmetic industries. It is held in a on a biennial basis, always in even years, and is only intended for B2B visitors.

STYL Fashion Fair is the business and commercial peak of the fashion industry. It is where exhibitors from all over Europe offer and present new brands, novelties and fashion trends in clothing from each field to professionals. Alongside classic fashion there are also collections from established Czech and European fashion designers as well as the up and coming generation of fashion designers. Traders can view the collections in the form of quality fashion shows within the scope of the rich accompanying programme. A section of the STYL fair is also dedicated to a selection of costume jewellery and accessories. 

KABO - Footwear and Leatherware Fair is the most prestigious professional show of the products of Czech and foreign footwear manufacturers within the Czech and Slovak Republics. Most of the global brands will present themselves, through their domestic distributors, along with footwear and accessory manufacturers.

PRODÍTĚ Fair is the most important contracting and sales presentation of this sector in the Czech Republic. Novelties of its range are regularly presented by leading suppliers of baby products on the Czech market. The fair also includes an attractive accompanying programme for the public.

The Building Fair Brno presents a cross-section view of the entire construction industry. It covers construction of buildings, building crafts and technologies, construction materials and products, building structures and technical equipment of buildings. The period of holding of the fair at the beginning of the year allows obtaining the necessary information, overview of new products and finding contractors and builders before the start of the construction season.

The main topic of the Building Fair 2022 will be Inner Environment in Buildings and Thermal Comfort, which will interweave through all four days of the fair. It will focus on the following topics: Green Roofs and Facades, Heating and Cooling, Ventilation and Sun-shading and Lighting and Acoustics. In addition to product presentations, interesting lectures and demonstrations, trade visitors and the general public will also be offered a number of free advisory centres, student competitions and demonstrations of the work of apprentices organised to support crafts.

The DSB -Timber Construction Fair Brno fair features a complete presentation of various types of wooden constructions and structures, materials for wooden constructions and structures,  foundations and cladding for wooden constructions and other branches that are closely connected with wooden constructions. The period of holding of the fair at the beginning of the year allows obtaining the necessary information, overview of new products and finding contractors and builders before the start of the construction season.

The MOBITEX Furniture and Interior Design Fair presents the latest trends in interior furnishings and home accessories. In one place you can see and try out the presentation of leading manufacturers and suppliers of furniture and home furnishings operating on the Czech market.

The main theme of the fair's supporting programme is the selection of quality and health-safe furniture. The fair will also focus on quality furniture from Czech furniture manufacturers, small apartment furnishings or light as an interior design feature. In addition to product presentations, interesting lectures and demonstrations, trade visitors and the general public will also be offered a number of free advisory centres, the Czech Republic's joinery championship and the GRAND PRIX MOBITEX exhibit competition in the Exhibitor and Student sections. The fair offers the opportunity to meet architects, designers and students of these fields.

On the weekend 7.-8. On January 1, 2023 , the Brno National Dog Show will take place on the premises of the Brno Exhibition Center.

The company Veletrhy Brno, as organizes simultaneous sales of breeding needs and feed for the whole 2 days. The sellers will be located in the pavilion in the immediate vicinity of the competition circles.

The IMT International Machine Tools Exhibition has been held concurrently with MSV in even years since 1998. As the largest event of its kind in Central and Eastern Europe, it is organized with the support of CECIMO, the European Association of the Machine Tool Industry.

467 exhibiting companies from 18 countries attended the last IMT in 2018, with 54% coming from abroad – mostly from Germany and Italy. Almost one half of the exhibitors represented metalworking machines, followed by precision tools and forming machines.

The FOND-EX International Foundry Fair is an evergreen in the Brno's expo calendar. It has been held here since 1972, today as the third largest specialized foundry fair in the world and clearly the most important on the Central European market. Last year, 55 companies from 10 countries participated, of which almost one half were from abroad.

FOND-EX is a place where foundry and modelling professionals from all over the region come to explore new machines and equipment and learn about advanced technologies and materials. This position implies a high share of international participants.

FOND-EX is held concurrently with the MSV International Engineering Fair and the IMT, WELDING, PROFINTECH and PLASTEX technology fairs.

WELDING has been held at the Brno Exhibition Centre since 1969. In 2018, there were 86 exhibiting companies from 10 countries participating, with more than one half of them from abroad. These figures have put WELDING in the position of the most important specialized welding technology expo in Central Europe.

WELDING, with the participation of all leading companies in this industry, is a proven opportunity to present all technological innovations and more complex services to customers. Almost one third of exhibitors present themselves in the field of machines and equipment for flame welding, oxy-fuel and arc cutting. A large number of companies are featured, which also have additional auxiliary materials, components, machines and equipment for other welding, as well as robots, manipulators and accessories for welding.

WELDING is held concurrently with the MSV International Engineering Fair and the IMT, FOND-EX, PROFINTECH and PLASTEX technology fairs.

During the short period of its existence, the PROFINTECH International Trade Fair for Surface Technology has already achieved the position of number one on the Czech expo market in the field of surface treatment. These technologies impact on almost all fields of human activity, significantly increase the useful value of a product and thus its competitiveness on the market and its price. The justification of the specialized project was also confirmed by its last season, which was attended by 79 companies from 9 countries.

Exhibitors also appreciate the combination of the event with other technology fairs within MSV and the resulting synergy effects. Most exhibitors are suppliers of equipment for surface cleaning and treatment, followed by companies presenting equipment for painting, enamelling and powder coating. According to a survey, trade visitors to this expo are active mainly in the fields of mechanical engineering, plastics, chemical industry and automotive.
